you WILL miss something at the conference, most likely, that you want to do.
PLEASE DO NOT VOLUNTEER unless you are prepared to follow through with your commitment.
big love. big thanks.
Volunteer!
Rethinking Everything is looking for a lots of reliable, dedicated volunteers! Volunteers are what make our conference such a great success, adding spirit, vitality, warmth and community.... and talent! We absolutely could not present such a high quality program and continue to keep our registration price low without the support of our volunteers!
Our goal is to find a way to ensure that anyone who wants to attend be able to do so, even when finances are tight. Your attendance, your contributions, the knowledge gained during our weekend together is much more important than your ability to pay. So, if you have a burning desire to boost the spirits of your self-designing, unschool family and undergo exhilarating transformation, but the cost is overwhelming, contact Barb. RE has a small scholarship fund and there is so much volunteer help needed!
The time you give will offset your registration fee and there are many fun volunteer opportunities available.
Contact Barb Lundgren to arrange your volunteer position for the conference. We're so sorry that you cannot choose the time your volunteer job takes place.. you've gotta just trust the process. You will miss something you want to attend. Nonetheless, volunteering is a great way to reduce your registration cost and still benefit extraordinarily from this year's earth-shattering RE experience.
Let Barb know what you want to volunteer for at the time you are ready to register. She cannot reserve the volunteer job(s) you wish without your completed Registration. Barb's email is barb_rethinkingeverything.net and her phone is 817.540.6423. Thank you! You can also email her this way.
We have several 90 minute PANEL DISCUSSIONS planned.
If you are a able to contribute with your valuable experience on one, you will receive a $40 credit toward registration.
Volunteer Panelists needed for:
Drugs, Alcohol & Teens
Allowing, Letting Go & Trusting the Process ... or not?
This panel will be made up of teens and young adults only with clarity of experience and insight on the use and/or abuse of alcohol and/or drug use.
The Art of Living Dangerously
We are looking for older teens, young adults and adults who can share wisdom and guidance on the importance of risk-taking in the healthy development of children and teens.

Keeping Love Alive: Sustaining a Long-Term Marriage or Partnership
Seeking adults who can share strategies and guidance on overcoming hurdles and challenges in partnership/marriage relationship and grow joyfully together.
Rethinking Marriage... and that Jealousy Component
What purpose does marriage serve, and who does it serve? Does a modern partnership need this old fashioned institution? Is commitment different than marriage? What about jealousy? What's that all about and why are we putting so much energy into it? Can we replace jealousy with self-ownership and empowerment and feel comfortable, confident and ready for anything? If you can shed light and wisdom on this re-thinking topic, we need you!
The Kids are Alright
Kids are born with a natural ability to follow their hearts, ask for help when they need it and always move in the direction of what feels right, powerful and important to them. This magnificent process often goes awry when the adults in a child's life mistakenly impose their own, often well-meaning, values and dictates on their child or teen's behavior - values and dictates that are products of their own dysfunctional or conformist training. Our panel will share their own big mistakes with their kids and teens and how they overcame them, allowing the kids and teens to heal, learn and thrive. If this rings true to you and you are willing to share, contact Barb.
I Love My Life: On My Own Terms
You know who you are: you have the perfect life of self-creation and love waking up (almost) every day. We want you to share your journey, experience and wisdom.

(Panelists can see workshop description to get a better feel for the direction of the workshop.)
